Default Magnaflow mufflers?

Would buying http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Magna...spagenameZWD1V

and just cutting the center resonator out be a bad idea? I think it would be a great sounding setup for under 400. Anyone think it would make the 2.7t sound ricy?

Honestly, I would be curious to hear a 2.7t w/ piggie Dps and a set of magnaflows. I have searched all over and everyone has either a cat back or the maganaflow on the 2.8.
Anyone have this set-up? Or know a link

no, i think it should sound good. i have Remus mufflers on my 2.8 with strait pipes in place of the center resonator and i love the sound! Check out youtube, there are a bunch of setups therethat you can listen to. I am GERMANPOWER90 on there and BSNEED23 is on there with his 2.7t with no res and magnaflows. check it out, i hope this helps.

Word of caution - I have piggies plus magnaflows and had my center resonator deleted; it droned like crazy in the cabin between 2k-3k rpm under any sort of load (highway speeds in 6th). I had resonators put back in. Sounded great outside the car, though.

I have piggies, DVs, and magnaflows with no resonator. Its kinda loud in the cab in 2nd gear but man it sounds holy from the outside. I recommend it.
