Might get an audi, need some input
I had been driving a BMW 335i for the past 3 years. Earlier this year when I turned 50 I thought it would be cool to have a convertible so I got a 2009 BMW 335i convertible. It is an amazing car, but I am over the cool factor of having a convertible and need more room. I have test driven several cars and am leaning towards a 2010 A6. I know I am going to take a hit and lose money on my trade in, but the longer I wait the more I will lose. Are there any other converts here from BMW to Audi? I would probably get one with the prestige package.
2010 S4 all the way! http://jalopnik.com/5440875/2010-audi-s4/gallery/
But seriously, there haven't been too many newer cars on here so I don't know if a lot of us will have much experience with the newest Audi's. Are you just looking for a bigger car or are there other reasons you've been looking at the A6?

We have a '05 A6 and absolutly love it, tons of power great ride and great in snow and wet. We went from a 330 ci Cab the only thing I miss besides the open air driving is the handling (of course we found the 330 rode on rails so I feel that it realy does not compare)
I am a convert. I had a 528 for awhile, but now am a proud owner of an A6. There are pros and cons, but I think A6 is more of an all around performer. Yes the E39 was a bit more fun to drive, but I wouldn't dare do the same things that I am doing with my A6 in the snow with the bimmer.
Also from what I hear is that Bangle butt E60 lost its soul where as C6 A6 actually got better. Also the 3.0T is just dang cool.

after 535 to Audi..its just different... sporty but with more security
you are going to A6, after your 3 series, but I am shure you will be satisfied with handling, maybe too queit for you in starting.no power liding ..but great 4x4 ride all year..
its like going from track racing to rallying ... totally different
