Um... Can you be a bit more specific? What sort of problems?

I'm in the same boat...I got a new Side mirror switch and I hate that these Germans can't just pop the switch in from the top.

I'd love for some guidance as to how to replace the switch or get the console apart or whatever I need to to. It's an 99 A6 Avant 2.8.

I'll post later about replacing my front outer CV boots and re-flashing the chip. :-D

Thanks!

FIXED!!

If you remove the cupholder from the console, you can leverage just a bit of upward pressure on the switch.
When you get a little gap at the rear of the switch cover, use a small flatblade screwdriver & pop it up!

No need to remove the console. Switch was ~$50-80 at Audi dealer, less from the better aftermarket places.

Easy-cheesey.
