Default misfire=oil temp

i searched but couldnt find anything. my 2.7t with 70k miles started misfiring bad at speed and idle check engine light came on.
i noticed while limping home my oil temp was at 180ish would that be any clue ? to either coil packs or injectors i heard it would only be the maf sensor if the misfire is at speed

Default Have you pulled any codes yet?

Was this a sudden onset or has it been getting worse? CEL steady or flashing?

Could be a coilpack or power output stage. As for the oil temp, 180 is pretty low. I only see that on the way to the normal 200-225.

limp mode is only designed to get you approx 30 miles at very low speed that's why they call it limp, oil temp would be low because of the limp mode which can be expected you now need to have it scanned for fault codes but first check if you have any oil in there

yea i got oil the check engine light is constant but i think at first it flashed. i figured the low oil temp was due to the misfire or the lack of combustion it feels like a injector or bad coil pack gonna have it scanned. it happened while cruising up the on ramp is it common for the green top injectors to fail ?

i have a 2000 2.7t with 68000 miles on it, the same thing happened and i took it to hoffman audi, they ran it through diagnosis and it came up as random misfire... they told me it could just be some bad gas.. that week i had ran 87 in it cause i just got the car and wasnt sure it needed high test.. it might just be a coincidence that it was the bad gas, or it could be something else.

i use 93 octane so i think it is a bad coilpack cause it only seems to be one or two cylinders . im driving my h22 del sol till i get it scanned .
