I come across discussion on diesel engine oils.
Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck
5W-40
Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5W-40
Both are API (gasoline ) certified.
It seems to me that besides the gasoline additive package there is a diesel specific package too. (or vice verse)
MSDS show superior low and high temperature characteristics.
The diesel specific features must be welcomed for turbo engines as well.
Anybody with experience?
