It's the C5 generation and I have the exhaust tips facing down sort of hidden by the bumper. I've seen other C5's that actually expose them by sticking straight out. These were probably on models released on a later year, but I don't see why I can't change mine to match that look. Does anyone know of a kit that can accomplish this? I can't seem to find the right keywords for Google to help me.

 

hey...i think the exhaust tips don't stick out on any a6 models until 2002...at any rate there is a conversion kit you can get out there. the only place i've seen them sold is at lltek.com
