i was wondering is there a way to find the previous owners of my car, because i bought the car with one main key and its supposed to have 3. the one i have is broken also so i need the others and the previous owners mght have them... so is there a place where i can get the records of the other owners and some phone numbers.

 

the only way i can see you finding out thecontact info of the previous owner would be to get the service records for it, sometimes they leave the original information on there. other than that, if that doesn't work out, might just have to get your locks and ignition rekeyed.

 

Also, you should be having four keys, not one. Two folding, one valet, and one plastic wallet key.

 

yes four keys total ... go to carfax.com and ull see everytime the title was transfered

 

There is no way to track down the previous owner (privacy issues) unless someone at a dealership slips up and gives it to you. Carfax doesn't show it, so don't waste your money.

 

If Carfax DID show that information, all the 2.7T owners would be murdering the previous owner of their cars for not taking care of the turbos better! Hahaha.
