they told me that the MMI could be updated and it was covered under the CPO warranty however i'd have to purchase the newest nav DVD for $299 and have them install it for $200....does this sound right to you guys?

You can purchase current GPS dvd at Navtech for $199. It can be installed by simply installing it in the player in the trunk. EvenI was able to do it. The GPS disk does interact with the MMI software and the original GPS software with the 2005s was problematic.
