There is a switch on the driver's side used to enable and disable the interior motion sensor, or at least that is what I think it is for.

What's it called and what part number is it?

Default Part Name
Hi, The switch is referred to in my Bentley manual as the, "Interior Motion Sensor Disable Switch" and the nomenclature number given is "E183". Hope this helps.
