Default need help a6 purchase!!

im sure many people have asked this.. but i suck at searching. i am about to buy a a6 2.8 trip Q with 85k miles? what should i be looking for and how soon of matience do i have to look for!!

There's a lot more people on this forum informed than myself, but you're starting to get into having to do some major stuff at that mileage, mainly water pump, timing belt and a host of other things recommended when those are done. 80K service should've included ribbed belt and v-belt. Timing belt is recommended at 105K. What price is it listed at and what year is it?

I'd have an Audi dealership use the VIN to look up the vehicle's maintenance history and see what you find there. That will tell you just what was done to it within its warranty period. Beyond that, I'd pay them to go over it if I was really interested in the car. Suspension bushings supposedly get expensive at about that mileage.
