Default Need help. Hydraulic fluid spraying everywhere

Audi A6 2000

Whenever I start my engine my hydraulic fluid is spraying all over the place. It’s coming from the hole in the cap. Any ideas why is this happening ?

By "hydraulic", do you mean power steering fluid?

If it is only coming from the cap, chances are the cap isn't on correctly or that the cap is defective somehow. If you have no other signs of failure, that's about all that can be wrong. Of course, your description isn't the last word in detail, so YRMV.

I agree with Bob.
Reservoirs have a cap for a reason: to keep the fluid in, especially when under pressure.
The Power steering system is pretty much a "closed loop" one. There's no "overflow" unlike let's say the cooling system.
There's no venting "hole" in the cap, so you either have a defective cap, or isn't on correctly as Bob already mentioned.

There is defiantly a lot of noise coming out when I turn my steering wheel. Fluid turned into foam.

I also started getting some clicking noise when I’m trying to make a right turn,I think its from the axle would that be the cause of this problem ?

I am having the same problem. There is a breather hole in the cap. I am getting foaming and the pump that was suppose to be new is whinning, when I turn off the car I can see bubbles coming back into the resvouir. I cant find the leak but the power steering fluid is down under by the spark plugs. Have you looked to see if you have any fluid there?
