Default Need help with my 97 Audi A6 wagon

Ok so i took my Audi A6 quattro wagon in to get the oil changed and when i got it back there were some serious issuses with it. First thing i noticed was that my tranny was slipping when i started to take off and when i tried to get up in speed it wouldnt shift and it didnt do that b4 i brought it in and my oil light started to come on also wich never happened b4. was wondering if any1 had an idea what the mechanic did to it. thanks Al

He might have drained the transmission instead of the oil sump. If so, he owes you a new transmission. Have it TOWED to a dealer or very good Audi indie for analysis.

Thanks for the reply they ended up loosening something on the tranny when the took off the front shield and put 2/3 of a quart to much oil in it they got it fixed.

Make sure they did it correctly.
Getting the correct amount of oil in an Audi transmission requires VagCom and a very specific proceedure.
If they didn't do it right you are in for more trouble.
Do a search in this forum and youy'll see what has to be done.
