I need some thoughts that know audi's. I hit a dog that weighted about 40lbs while I wad doing 55mph, it tore up my bumper broke drivers side fog light and grill, buckled the fender a little, broke the intercooler ducting and took out my slash guards under the car. So I go pick up my car and drive home and the cel light comes on for p0741 take it back and they say it's un-related. What are some thoughts? It's goin through a comp claim with geico. My car is a 2001 a6 2.7T with 91K

 

A quick google says this code is related to the torque converter. It could have been hit by dog parts and damaged. Google it and read up on some existing posts.

 

Some wires may have been dislodged on the tranny. It sounds like it's related to me. Call the adjuster.
