Default Need Help Rough Idle

Hello all I'm new to this forum as I just purchased a 2004 Audi A6 S line 2.7t. I noticed a little bit of a sloppy idle to I decided to replace the plugs (ngk iridium x i believe gapped to .032), change the air filter (K&N panel filter) and do an oil change (royal purple 5w30 synthetic) while I was at it. Upon completion I noticed that now as the car idles it occasionally drops down and then back up as if it is going to stall, but when I'm driving, the car is fine. The problem only comes at idle. I am not getting any check engine lights or nothing like that just this erratic idle which is much worse than before. Does anyone have an idea of what this might be and/or how it happened? Do I need to reset the computer?

Correct spark plug should be pregaped multiprong plug. You shouldn't gap the multiprong plugs anyways. Also, you can try cleaning MAF sensor and clean the throttle body to see if it helps.

Hey man heres a DIY to fix this problem... http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng88.shtml if you dont feel comfortable in doing this allow me to suggest Elite Motors in Little Ferry NJ. Sam is a man who knows German Cars like the back of his hand I cant tell you how pleased I am to have him work on my car.. His website is www.elitemotorsnj.com
