need power rear sunshade help
does any one have any adivce or pics, to show what to do if your power shade goes out in the rear deck? i have looked all over here, audi world , and stoneys links but nothing really touches this in detail.
mine will not go up, when i press the button it just clicks. i have tried having my wife press the button and me jiggling the shade at the same time, and also tried to pull it upward when the button is depressed.
anything that showed how to get to it by removing the rear deck or the installation of an oem rear sunshade would be awesome
any help would be greatly appreciated, with pics would be even better. thanks

From the AudiWorld Tech Articles....
Boston Driver did an excellent, detailed writeup on installing an OEM Sunshade.

RE: From the AudiWorld Tech Articles....
The only problem I've experienced with mine is the shade not folding down properly but I never put mine down. I keep it up all the time. There are times when I put it down when the fabric doesn't fold evenly and it looks really messy.

RE: need power rear sunshade help
I have an 01 A6 4.2 and the other day I had it serviced for a noisy AC fan and they checked the passenger memory. The diagnosis was that the switch for the memory was bad. After I picked it up the rear sunshade does exactly what you describe - it just clicks but it will not go up. I had used it the morning before dropping it off. I took it back and they declared that the motor had coincidentally gone out and I would be looking at $400-$500 to replace. Can you tell me what you ended up doing on yours - thank you for your time.
