More than likely its your abs pump module. Search on ebay for the place that rebuilds them. It takes about an hour to remove the module, and you can drive the car without it. They charge 200$ to redo the module and that includes the shipping label they send you to use to send it in. Or they dealer will charge 2g's for a new one.

www.modulemaster.com

Give them a shout. The dealer will absolutely leave you feeling like you've been given an STD on this one.

ModuleMaster

It definitely sounds like your ABS control module, but there are a couple other things you should check first.

search for "audi a6 abs rebuild" There is a auction for a rebuild. Its 199$. Cheaper than module master and does the same thing.

Have it VAGed. It could be a wheel sensor.
