New A6 4.2 Owner with QUESTIONS...Help!
Ok, I have finally come to terms with the fact that I sold my 2002 BMW M3 for an Audi A6 4.2 (2001) because wife and I are working on kids and needed to scale back the vehicles. However, I am having trouble dealing with the car in it's stock form and have some questions...
First of all, what software (engine and transmission) can be done to this car and by what company?
Second, I have seen numerous people put the RS6 sport exhaust on the car but how do they deal with the rear valence, etc? Any thoughts?
What about other common modifications?
Finally, does ANYONE have pictures of the RS6 replica wheels, either in 18" or 19" size on this car?
Any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I couln't imagine a ECU chip would provide much more HP for your car. They really don't do much for a normally aspirated engine. Should have gotten the 2.7t, ya coulda been up to 450hp with k04 turbos and new software.

Nice picture. Are those the 18" or 19"?
As for getting the 2.7T, I liked the wider stance of the 4.2 better and when I was part of a Euro Car driving club, a lot of the 2.7 TT guys with the S4's and the A6's would speak of some "issues" that would develop with these cars over time and I was a little more comfy with the idea of a solid V8 non boosted engine.
Anyway, what about the exhaust issue, anyone??
