Hello everyone, I recently ran into a friend of mine that is trying to get rid of his 2001 A6, it has 150k miles on it. He wants to trade it for my Dodge Durango because he got thius car as a gift and does not want it(hes a truck guy).......Im trying to find out what I should be looking for when I go test drive and give my inspection. My knowledge in cars is a little more then basic I know my ins and outs.....any suggestions? anything about this certain model I should know about? Maintenance Issues at 150k????? any help would be great

 

Which engine? Since your friend got it as a gift, does he have access to the maintenance records?

Have someone take a good look at the suspension. Audis are heavy and tend to go through ball joints, tie rods and the like. I would also find out when the TB was last done.
