Default New brake pads and rotos - noise and grabbing

A6 1998 quattro - 174K

I install new front pads and rotors this weekend. EBC redstuff pads and just some basic rotors. Took the car out and brakes worked wonderfully, followed the instructions to make sure the breaks bed-in correctly. The next day I got a lot of noise on a slow stop and I head a noise that sounded like the brakes were grabbing.

- Is there anything special I need to do when installing new rotors? It seemed straight forward as other vehicles I have worked on.

- Brake fluid is slightly above the fill line. Would this cause brake grabbing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The new pads took much longer to break in. The brakes seem to be working well.

Had the same thing with my EBC pads. Did the break-in and still had some noise when slowly coming to a stop, I checked everything and used break quiet stuff on the back of the pads but it did not make a difference.. a few hundred miles later they went quiet but still break hard
