I am in need of a new instrument cluster for my 2001 A6 2.8 fwd. Does anyone know of any with good LCD lights cheap or a good cheap fix? Thanks

Check with Modulemasters and google instrument cluster repairs. I think there is also a service in Canada that repairs them.

You didn't mention why you think you need a new cluster. If it's just the bleed out of the information panel then you don't need a new cluster, just have your's fixed. Module masters did a good job on mine & turn around was ~ 1week.
Google A6 cluster removal. Pretty easy task to remove it, as I recall.

Thanks for the response Gents! I totally spaced out the part that I wanted to replace it because the pixels are dead on the present unit

I just tried a used unit in my 2000 A6 and the pixel issue was fully resolved. However, its oil gage did not function and I get a warning buzzer and fault lights reading Brake and ABS. When I put in my old unit the buzzer is off and I get no fault lights. Does it sound like a defective panel?
