Hey all...

I just purchased a 1995 A6 sedan 2.8 automatic FWD w/135,000 miles. Really like it. Its gonna be my designated highway cruiser.

I'll start going through threads, and doing research, but if anyone can link threads that would be cool as well.

1. Heat is "always on". Doesn't appear the blend door is allowing outside cold air to mix at all.
2. Related to the above, AC has to be manually "switched on" under the plastic cover under the hood.
3. Engine temp gauge is always on cold...as is oil temp gauge.
4. I'd like to replace the struts...and slightly lower the car. Not digging the 4wd stance, but am not looking for a race ride. I have another car dedicated for that.
5. Are any other model brakes an upgrade for the stockers?
6. I'm looking to upsize the wheels to 16" or 17". Are other later model Audi rims a correct fit?
7. Recommended oil viscosity and brand? I don't see to many 5-40 grades...but Mobil-1 0-40 is pretty available.
8. I'm also missing the grill pieces below the audi grill in the front bumper. Are there fog lights that can fit in there?

Anything else you all can recommend I'm all ears...
