New owner
New here and just bought the wife a used 2003 A6 wagon w/ 26,000 miles. Until this time, I had no idea how well these cars drove (I'm a truck guy which means my car tastes are pretty sub par). Really an amazing machine. The only annoying thing I found is the 'Driver Time Alert' that starts flashing after 2 hours behind the wheel. Is there a way to disable this feature? This car does not have the little control **** below the side mirror controls (as outlined in the owners manual)...it seems all functions (such as clock and date) are adjusted thru the two controls protruding from the instrument cluster. Been thru the owners manual several times and can't seem to find anything related to changing some of the dash alert functions...unless of course you have the little **** below the window controls. Thanks for any assistance.

RE: New owner
Check the windshield wiper arm. There should be a button at the end of the arm that will let you cycle thru different information, driver alert, MPG, miles till empty, speed alert, etc. That should get you out of "Driver Time Alert", or you can press the button located on the bottom middle of the arm and shut this function off.
Hope this helps.
