Default New owner need help!

I just got my 1999 A6 quattro a month ago and it was used obviously and it didn't come with a owners manual and I am waiting for one to be shipped. About 2 days ago I had a light come up on the display that looked like some kind of container with some stuff spilling out. I looked under the car and I saw a little leak and it seemed to be at a joint forgive me because I am not that car savy but that is all I know. I didn't get it a lot yesterdya but today while I was driving it seemed to come up a lot and I was wondering what that meant (the little icon) and if I should get it fixed asap. I have it scheduled to go in on the 29th because I have a 90 day warranty at the dealership and their repair guy is on vacation. So should I go somewhere else and pay to get it fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Ben

The icon is most likely your windshield washer fluid low level indicator. Fill up the reservoir and it should go away. Check the small shelf in the dash under the steering column. The owners manual is usually hiding there...

I checked under the steering wheel and still nothing but thanks for the tip. I went out and refilled the fluid also and took it for a spin and didn't get a warning! Thanks for the help
