OK this is where it gets tricky.

I am actually in China now. I am from the UK, but i belive this car was imported from Germany and the panel by the rev counter was converted to Chinese.

I removed the plastic cover and found that it has the inscription ATX on it, it is a 1999 or 2000 model and it is FWD.

Engine size is 2.8 V6,

ATX is nothing to consider that's a dial code the car is probably APR engine code euro model

 

You know what my next question will be ....

where do i get that info from then?

 

looking from the front of the car the engine number is on the right front of the cylinder head read the first three letters only forget the numbers

 

Goodness...i spend about half an hour trying to look for it...

can anyone roughly point out where it is?

my digi cam took the pics in 7megapixel, 3mb a file....

need to resize

 

mine is set at 10meg pix so wont upload because of the size so I have to cut cut cut you know what its like lol
