98 a6Q No Lights, Blinkers, A/c & Wipers Does anyone know if this is a common problem? I've read previous posts that lean more towards the ignition switch. Before I replace it, Does anyone know any tests I can do to make sure it is.

i'd check the fuses before you go replacing ignition parts. a 15 cent fuse definitely beats paying for a several hundred dollar ignition switch.

 

Definitely check the fuses, but if it is the switch, it's less than $30.

I also have a 98Q that has the same problem. After starting the car, I turn the key slightly back toward me. That's it.

 

barryoy32 - You might want to change that switch before you find yourself stranded somewhere.
