I didn't notice this before I bought the vehicle, '04 3.0, so I don't know if this was the case before I bought it. Anyway, after starting from park to drive, after moving like a foot or two theres this scratching noise then it goes away. It sounds like it comes from the front of the car. It doesn't happen when I shift from park to drive. I haven't tried reverse to drive. But, after starting and going a couple of feet its been pretty consistent. My MIL went of today to but I don't know if the problems is related. Would anyone have any thoughts?

 

It also only happens when I press on the gass after starting. If i just let coast I dont hear the noise
