Default NOTE: Excessive Comm Errors - H E L P ! ! !

hi fellas. I got some new problem today. My AC stop working. Outside temp is about 95F and i'm going to die !!!

So , soonest i get home i check faulty codes with VAG-cam and here what's pop up:

Address 08
Protocol: KW1281
Controller: 4B0 820 043 Q
Component: A6-Klimavollautomat D62
Coding: 00160
Shop #: WSC 02325
Note: Excessive Comm Errors

There is no way to reset or read the controller. AC pump is not running. I checked fuses, but everything is ok.

well, i got some news. at first, that error is easy to fix. All u need to do is change your bit rate on your PC under your Device manager, LPT-USB preferences from 16 to 12.

So, my reading looks like:

VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

Control Module Part Number: 4B0 820 043 Q
Component and/or Version: A6-Klimavollautomat D62
Software Coding: 00160
Work Shop Code: WSC 02325
2 Faults Found:
00779 - Outside Air Temp Sensor (G17)
30-10 - Open or Short to B+ - Intermittent
01273 - Fresh Air Blower (V2)
17-10 - Control Difference - Intermittent

Another thing i find out is my radiator fan is not running and AC pump clutch not lock either. So tomorrow morning ill try to put straight 12V on FAN if works. For me looks like FAN just died which can be easier and cheaper to fix.

You said you checked fuses. Did you check the relay, also?
I just came from work and I'm too tired to walk to the car, but you should have at least one relay for AC under the hood.
