No need to pull the motor, I believe all you really need to remove is the intake and the "Y" pipe. Ive read that the piping is very brittle so you need to exercise caution!
From what i have found, its just a matter of unattaching the old Spider pipe and reattaching the new. If you are in cold climate, like me, then you will want the insulated version of the pipe.
