I just bought a 2000 A6 4.2. It didnt come with the manual. Does this car not have a oil pressure warning light? I might be having oil pressure problems. Valves are noisy when hot. It makes a little rattle when rpms fall only when hot. Audi dealer said cam chain tensioner was letting up. The under lying or route problem could be a oil pressure problem? Thx

 

it does have an oil warning light which should light up when the ignition is turned on check system its not the same as an oil pressure light which would sound an alarm if the pressure was low engine running ( cam chain has nothing to do with that )
