Opinions: 2001 A6 Wagon
Hi everyone, I am a new member and soon to be Audi owner. I would love any opinions people have on this car:

I currently drive (my first and only car) is a '93 Honda Accord with 70k miles...I got it for grocery shopping and driving to work 1-2/week in NYC 2 years ago.
I'm trading it in for this Audi wagon from a gentleman who has taken great care of it, has service records and 92k miles. The car looks terrific in and out and felt great to drive (of course anything might after my old Honda). He has serviced it with a German Audi dealer who took care of him, and I plan to take it to my local mechanic who has experience with German cars in the morning before purchasing it, just to get an idea of what to look for and what I am looking at.
If I only drive about 6-9k miles a year, can I anticipate it will last me 4-5 years without paying the same money in repairs as im paying him ($7k).
Is it okay to purchase parts online if needed instead of having the mechanic take care of everything?
Thanks for reading and I hope to learn more about my car via these forums.

Allroad is a great car. Make sure to check for the following things.
Air suspension is working properly.
Turbos are in good shape. No leak...
Make sure the readiness code is set and no emission related codes are present.
Check for typical oil leak around the valve cover gaskets, cam chain tensioner, and cam seals.
Check for tranny condition. Ask the owner whether the fluid has ever been changed.
Timing belt, water pump and etc have been replaced.
FYI, these are great cars, but will require more cash than your Honda to maintain. A couple of thousands on repair/maintenance is easy.
