Including the cv boots for 150? damn good price if you ask me.

Something fishy here.

Independent shop that does not supply the parts?

One should be aware that shops make in average 30% on the parts.

Lets see what the final bill is going to look like.

no they were going to, but i told them i would get them myself cause i could find them for cheaper.

BTW, if you supply the part for a shop, you just killed your warranty. But in this case, it is really hard to screw up, so I say go for it.

my car is a 99 so im not really worried about my warrenty lol

I am talking the usual 3 months warranty from the repair shop. Not the car warranty.

even if something does happen, i still come out winning. they wanted to charge me i think 100 dollars a pop (maybe more, dont remember) for each tie rod end. i can get them for 34 at the most, looking at the quality of other cheaper ones.
