Hey. I've had the p0024 code pop up three times in the past six months. Code reads: "B" camshaft position timing over advanced or system performance bank 2. Open or short circuit condition. Probable cause: poor electrical connection, failed camshaft actuator, blocked oil passage. I replaced the camshaft position sensor twice and the engine light went away. Though extremely weird it would fail a third time, I replaced it again, this time it didn't work. Car pretty much idles rough and a rough start sometimes. Any suggestions on what I can check and probably how to check it before throwing money at the dealer? I do not have a VAG COM. Also, driver side is bank 2, correct? Thanks.
