Default P0332 Knock Sensor Curcuit Low Input (Bank2)

I went to autozone just now and pulled this code. What causes this error code too show up. Can it possibly be due to using 87 (regular) gas when I'm supposed to use 91 (premium)?

Thanks

Its possible but not likely. A knock sensor low imput means that the sensor isn't giving the ECM a signal, or the bolt holding down the sensor is loose.

The code that is set right now on my A4 Avant 2.8V6 is P1137, but P1139 and P0332 are pending. Is it possible that lacking the knock sensor signal triggers the rich condition?

Oh well, I'll find out tomorrow AM if the sensor is attached or loose. Which side of the engine, by the way, is considered 1 and 2. I am guessing that 1 is the same side as cylinder 1?

Thanks.
