Money is tight right and from what I am gathering this is only an emissions problem, is this true? Will it do any major damge if I wait a few weeks to get this fixed?

I've tried gas gap thing so that isn't doing the trick.

 

also, I'm a retard when it comes to cars. These hoses I'm looking for, are they near the gas tank or under the hood?

P0441 is Evaporative Emission System Incorect Purge flow.

it will not hurt the motor if you drive it that way butcheck the vacuum hose between the EVAP canister and throttle valve.

 

It shouldn't damage the engine. The emission hoses are around the engine, they get brittle over time, crack easily. I also get the P0441 code if I fill the gas tank too full.
