New to this forum.
I purchased an audi A6 2.7TDI sline le mans 6 speed manual with just under 60000 miles on the clock back in february. it had had its 20 and 40K services with Audi. The guy who sold it to me had MOT'd it and said he'd done a mini service.

I have just had it serviced by Audi and they have told me that they have noticed the power steering guild is the wrong colour and would recommend a full power steering system change (at cost of £3000) to prevent damage.

Any comments from the experienced audi owners/forum members?

it sounds like they are wanting to replace all the components in the system for that price, which seems crazy to me. I would have find a shop that will drain and fill the system with the correct fluid, unless you can do it yourself.
