I have searched the forum and see nothing about steering fluid specification...It seems like a secret unless you just go get it from the Dealer. I have some Pentosin CHF11S and was wondering if this will do the job? Just wanted to suck out the reservoir with my trusty turkey baster and refill with fresh.

Check the user manual. Starting in 03 or something, they went to synthetic (CHF 11s) from mineral oil. (CHF 7.1) 7.1 should not mix with 11.
