Over the past 2 months I've had to top off my power steering fluid and of course after evaluating found that my steering rack is starting to leak on the passenger side. Has any members recently replaced theirs? I am just trying to find out how much you may have paid for the part.

I know that most of the steering racks are remanufactured. I have seen online cost from $975 to $1150 with a $150 to $175 returnable core charge. Does this sound accurate to you? How about the labor time? I was thinking around 3/4 hours because of the twin turbos. I know the 2.8's are a bit easier to do.
