Push button start
Push start sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you can't start with key and sometimes car will not shut off at all 2005 Audi A6 4.2. It has been on service for same problem 20 times since April dealer states they can't do anything else. Audi of America basicly told me to f off. Anyone else have this problem

RE: Push button start
When was the last time you had it at the dealer
I know there is a bulliten for this problem that came out recently
Also you may know it but the car wont start with the button if the key is in the ignition
Have you noticed if the button feels different
Have you spilled any type of liquid on it

RE: Push button start
Yeah there was a recent post about a bad wire on the ignition switch that was shorting out. I am sure Audi has been looking at your ignition switch/ switches (push button). Tell them to run an ohm-meter or whatever those little electrical things are to find out why the thing is so crappy. Probably a wire.
