I very much doubt that such a kit exists. The more modern push button start cars have high-tech key fobs that allow the whole system to work properly, your A4 doesn't have that capability. In short: Not. Gonna. Happen.

you can buy them for any car... my buddy has a svt focus and he bought one from an s2000 and installed it... looks great! some are really easy and just has to go in cigarette lighter! (you have to wire it too though... ) and heres an example of just one that you have to drill small hole for

Ahhhhh. I are confuzed. I thought he was trying to completely replace the turn-key ignition with a retro-fitted push button set up. Just adding a button wouldn't be too hard.

Yeah the one in that link still requires the key. You put the key in, turn it to the "on" position, but instead of turning it further to crank the car, you push the lil red button.

I basically ran out of stuff to do on my Z (without dropping thousands of dollars at a time) so I put one in. It was from Ignited Motorsports. Cool enough and easy to install but it was a gimmick I used maybe once a month.

You can get a drag race unit from JEG's. Here's one that could look pretty tight in your whip: http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS/555/11001/10002/-1

The reason i am asking about it is not for looks. I mean i want it to look good. But its cause i think i may need to replace the ignition key. The key turns to run and i can push start the car but there is no crank. I am replacing the starter tonight or tomorrow and if it still doesnt work that would mean that its prolly ignition key so then i would have to look at putting in the push button start.

Thanks for all the help and hopefully i can get this to work..
