Default Question about APR & octane's

Ok so if i am running a 2.7t with the apr chip (stock, 91, 93, and 100 modes) i am in a bit of a dilema.

I live at about 5300ft in elevation. So we don't have as high of octane. We have 85, 87, and 91. However supposedly we're supposed to "gain 2 octane points for elevation." So if that's the case and i'm running the pump's "91 octane" does that mean i'm actually running 93 and should use the 93 octane setting on the chip? Or should i base my setting off the actual reading of 91 on the pump.

Also if i use an octane booster that raises 7 octane points, would this be sufficient to run the 100 octane mode? Because that would technically be 98 octane unless you count the 2 points for elevation.

So i guess my question is, should i factor the extra two points in or ignore them?

Don't know too much about elevation change but that sounds like BS to me. Stick with the 91 octane program.
Octane booster raising it 7 POINTS????? Never, octane booster is so overated its not even funny.
If anything you'll gain about 0.58 points on a full tank of gas.

I respect your opinoion but i'm going to have to disagree on that. If it were bs why would all local gas stations carry 85, 87, and 91 instead of 87, 91, and 93?

Also if you do some research on octane booster you'll find that many brands are actually as effective as they claim to be. I'm too tired right now but if i get some time later i'll find a study i read where they tested the actual octane gains from booster and found pretty surprising results.

Think about it. Regular gas has about 3% toluene, 100 octane race gas is about 25% toluene, if octane boosters are adding toluene, wouldnt it make sense that the octane levels would be increased as well?
