If I am filling up with 92 octane, can i still get the 91 octane APR chip?

I see no reason why not. I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure thats a minimum octane requirement. The reason for the 91 octane is because it is tuned to run as best as it can without detonation at 91 octane. Higher octane reduces the chance of detonation. Now if you were using the 93 octane program it would be putting more boost and probably more advanced timing (or whatever they do) that would cause it to detonate early on 91 octane.

Man I wish we could get 93 octane out here in the west, we only have 3 grades to choose from. Kinda bogus. It would make sense to be able to run 92 on a 91 chip, like Kextyn said it's just a minimum rating.
