could someone please help, i took out the battery to clear the drain plug, there was a clear tube with a black end next to the battery, was this suppose to be attached to the bottom of the battery tray. i've attached the pic, it looks like it fits but i want to be sure

 

I think there is supposed to be a drain for the battery tray so I would go with it being correct.
