1. I own a 99 a6 with 100k miles. And first of was wondering if there was anyway to avoid getting assistance from the car when shifting from first to 2nd. That one gear is always controlled by the car and its rather annoying.

2. Any one know where I can go or a site I should visit to purchase a front bumper for my car with they same color? Its been dented and scratched badly due to it being taken off so many times. It just doesnt seem to look like a piece of the car anymore. Ill provide pics if need be.

3. I see the dumb@$$es at my college campus love scratch and key my car. They obviously love my leather interior because im always finding dozens of hand prints on my windows after comming from class. And being that the parking lot is so small, my wherever I park is a hazard zone. My car has a few penny sized dimples where people carlessly open there car door upon.

Is there any kind of quick fix, scratch repair kit I can purchase to fix all this damage? I must have gotten over 20 scratches over the period of 5 months Ive owned my car. They range from about a cm long to about 2 feet long (Yea; My head exploded when I saw that one.)

 

Thats how the Tiptronic works. Its a safety precaution. The tiptronic can be programed for you to change from 1st to 2nd and to change when you want even if it hits the rev limiter (usually it will change gears if you dont once you hit a certain rpm) You need a Vag-Com to do that though. Im thinking of gettin the VASt tip chip which helps the trans shift smoother

 

Im planning on buying a vag-com set thingy. That saftey thing is a pain.

if u have a regular a6 program trans to 00032 if u have an allroad or s-line 01032

vast tip chip doesnt make ur car shift smoother either it reduces gear searching
