Radio head unit
Quick question. I have a 99 a6 and was wondering if there are any newer model head-units I can purchase and pop into my car. Perferably the ones with the little pop out video screen, and other features such as usb and SD ports and such.

RE: Radio head unit
theres a ton to choose from. i have a 99 a6 and i use to have a flip up touch screen dvd player. it was cool buti just didnt want it anymore...but yea you really dont even need a mounting system becuase they all fit perfect. you just need the cover which is the mounting...but they all come with a metal mounting bracket which fits perfect when you take the stock stereo out. i put my origional back in because i just wanted the clean stremline look of all the red and the screen was too bright.... hope you find a good one.. good luck.

RE: Radio head unit
Ive got a few headunits on ebay Im taking a look at. But Im not sure if they are easy to install, and some are in different sizes.
Here's a few links.

And a few others. I know my actual stock head unit is 2 pieces. So my questions are will these fit without extensive modification? Will I have gapping holes in my car? I have very little automotive audi experience, and I dont want to blow money on something that wont work or fit right.
