What does it take to get the code and get this thing going? I got the price for the car I was looking at down to a much more reasonable value but I don't know what the code means. It has a BOSE system if that helps.

All you need is the 4-digit security code for the radio, which is typically found on a card in the Symphony operating manual (just inside the cover). If that card is missing, you should negotiate the fee to pay a delaer to retrieve the code for you (typically they charge an hour labor for that). Once you get the code, make sure you record it somewhere that you will not lose it. You'll need taht code if the battery dies, of if any work is done to the car where the battery needs to be disconnected.

yep i paid for it. last week to get the code. so far havne't found any program that can decode that 4 digit..
