Default random misfire

Hi i have a 00a6 2.7t 6spd and have been getting andom misfires since the day ive bought it it was from a used car dealership so i had a 3 month warrenty on it but they still cant even figure it out. It was bring up codes for the one EGT sensor so they put a one one of those in .. did nothing.. Also had codes for misfires on 4 5 and 6. He said he switched the plugs around on the Ignition contorl modules and it switched the mis fires so he thought it was that.. I have 2 brand new ICM's in it and it still is doing the same thing. and now theidle is wierd sometimes dropping down to like 500 and going inbetween 500 and 700 up n down then back to normal sometimes.. Most of the time a code wont even flash. Ill be driving and all of a sudden it falls on it face under acceleration and then will kick back in.. Or sometimes it just will feel real slow in a smooth way so it def misfiring there too? any ideas maybe MAF or something?

What about the plugs? I assume the 00 2.7 uses spark plug wires, have they been changed? If it uses coil packs instead of wires have the coil packs (not icm's) been changed?

thats all I can think of

the 00 2.7T uses coil packs.
You would think the stealer should be able to find the problem since they have all the troubleshooting tools...
