Default Rear Bottom Control Arm Removal

I'm working on doing a CV boot repair, and I'm trying to use the bottom rear control arm method, instead of fussing with the pinch bolt.

The RCA bolt is off, but I can't, for the life of me, get the damn thing out of the ball joint. I've tried jacking the suspension up to drive height - nothing. I'm trying to pop it out by placing a breaker bar between the RCA and the pry tab on the knuckle. As I pry, the RCA flexes, which a) puts more angle on the ball joint, and b) scares me that I'll break the arm.

Any tips?
