Default New Key Question

What is the bast way to get a second key. Some say dealer and some say no.
I have a 2003 A6

I just did this, the key was $60, the programming at the dealer was $125.

Programming is dealer only.

Programming of the remote could be done by everyone who could follow the instructions from the owner's manual.
Immo programming - as already mentioned => dealers only.
Dealers will program upto 4 keys within the same price.
You'll get a new immo code that would prevent somebody having old keys to have your car.
