My 1996 A6 has had the rear door speakers replaced about 18 months ago and one has already started whistling in tune with the engine revs, as u know these have their own amp on the back of the unit, last time apparently i had the last 2 in europe and they are now deleted So can anyone recommend a decent replacement the head unit i am gonna replace after xmas, also has anyone put a sub in mine is a estate I know some had a sub in from new with a BOSE system but again these are deleted and there is no wiring in the loom for it anyway.
I am thinking of a Alpine head unit.
