I'm sure this has been posted before. Anyway I own a 99 a6 2.8l . I am looking for the rear lip thing that goes on the trunk. Where is the best place to get it; can I get a color match; how much,; installing? is it diy, or pro needs to do it.? Al questions do not need to be answerd if I get a reply to a websit or if someone just has it already and know the ans.

I would advise you to hit up eBay, I just bought one from some dude in Hong Kong, but be careful depending on what you want... I got a very nice looking lip and the paint matched perfectly, but the odd thing is it came rolled up like a damn poster or something, very flexible plastic... and it was only about $120. It depends on whether you want something very reliable and sturdy, or whether you just want it to look cool from a distance. I will take a couple pics in a couple days when it stops snowing here in Michigan, and I'll post them up so you can see what it looks like if you want.

i just bought from ebay also. it really depends on what look you are looking for. i was just looking for something to break the slope of the trunk. i got the one with the 3m adhesive strips. i got it shipped and color matched for about $80. it looks great. i was suprisingly very satisfied...good luck!
